The Larimer County Department of Health reported nearly 300 new COVID-19 cases Thursday (Nov. 12), pushing the county's cumulative total over 5,700 cases since the start of the pandemic.

According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald, Larimer County added 294 new cases to its cumulative total on Thursday, pushing the total number of confirmed and probable cases since March to 5,738.

Among the 294 new COVID-19 cases, 148 cases were reported in Fort Collins, 65 in Loveland, 35 in Estes Park, and 13 in Berthoud.

The number of suspect cases, which includes people who tested positive via an antibody test but never showed symptoms, held steady at 518.

There have been 63 COVID-19 related deaths since the start of the pandemic and 118 outbreaks, of which 51 are currently active.

As of Friday morning (Nov. 13), Larimer County still remains a high risk area.
