The Larimer County Sheriff's Office alerted the public early Thursday morning that they are searching for an 'armed and dangerous man."

Fort Collins Police reports that, 25-year-old Jonathan Crossley is a suspect in the stabbing of a woman at a home in the 200 block of Tiger Cat Way that occurred around 5 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 4). The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities searched for Crossley but haven't been able to locate him. His vehicle was found abandoned in Lory State Park.

Lory State Park has temporarily closed to all visitors as authorities search for the suspect. There's no estimated time of reopening.

Crossely is a white male that is 5-foot-11 and 140 pounds.

Anyone with information about this suspect’s location should call police. If Crossley is seen, call 911 immediately and do not approach him.
