Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Applauded by Legal Marijuana Supporters

It's nice to see how all the systems are working to keep things moving smoothly around legal and illegal marijuana. There is a non-profit in Fort Collins called TEAM Wellness & Prevention. This organization provides wellness and prevention programming to all of Larimer County through schools and community presentations.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office recently received an applaud from TEAM as well as the Cannabis members of TEAM’s Responsible Association of Retailers (RAR) program regarding the news of the arrests related to an illegal grow operation in Larimer County.

The applaud came because Illegal grow operations undermine the regulatory structure that been instituted as a result of legalization in Colorado. These illegal operations contribute to the black market and also contribute to unlawful underage access to marijuana and marijuana infused products.
