LCSO is asking for the help of the public to assist in locating at suspect in an attempted kidnapping that took place in Berthoud on November 4th.


Law enforcement responded to the call on November 4th near the area of 8th Street and Hummingbird Place in Berthoud where a 14 year-old girl was on the sidewalk waiting for her friend, when the suspect approached from behind and grabber her by the arm. The suspect pulled her into the street and she broke free unharmed.

Authorities are searching for the suspect who fled on foot from the scene. He was described as wearing a black hoodie, brown pants and tennis shoes. The victim also described what could be acne scars on his face.
