The Foote Lagoon in Downtown Loveland, at Civic Center Park, has a wonderful statue of a small band singing a song: 'I'd Love to Live in Loveland.'

I grew up in Loveland, and remember being excited about the Civic Center Park going in, along with the Foote Lagoon, in 1989. With the new park, came great sculptures, including 'Joy of Music,' by George Lundeen.

I've always known of the sculpture, taken pictures of the sculpture, but never knew, until recently, that they are singing a song that's on sheet music within the piece of art. Not only that, the song is about Loveland.

'I'd Love to Live in Loveland' is an old tune that dates back to 1910, written by Will Rossiter.

It's a nice little song about being in love and living in Loveland; with blue skies, roses, strolling by babbling brooks.

I found this video of the late, great crooner Bing Crosby singing the song in a 1948 release:

Now, when I walk over to the park from my apartment in Downtown, I can stop at 'Joy of Music' and hear ol' Bing, giving extra depth to the sculpture.

Of course, 'Joy of Music' is just one of many sculptures that George Lundeen has produced that you can find in Loveland.

MORE Colorado Pizza: Is This the Biggest Pizza in Colorado?

While in Downtown Denver recently, we got to stop at Atomic Cowboy, which features the famous Denver Biscuit Company, and Fat Sully's NY Pizza. While I love the Denver Biscuit Company, the moment we walked in the doors and smelt that fantastic pizza, I knew that was what I wanted. And once I saw this massive pie, I knew that's what I NEEDED! Let's show you what I'm talking about.
