Loveland and Berthoud fire departments responded to an apartment fire near Downtown Loveland Monday morning (Nov. 23). 

The apartment fire on the 600 block of E. Eisenhower was contained to one unit, and the occupants made it out safely. Firefighters rescued one puppy, who was treated by medics, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority shared on Instagram.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Loveland Fire Rescue also responded to a large commercial fire last week.
