Updated- According to the Reporter Herald:

Allen Ginsborg, co-founder of commercial developer NewMark Merrill Mountain States, was found dead Friday after being declared missing earlier this week. He was 59.

Sources close to Ginsborg confirmed to BizWest Saturday that the body recovered a mile and a half east of the Lon Hagler Reservoir southwest of Loveland was that of Ginsborg, who had been reported missing Monday by his family.

A cause of death has not been released.

Can you help find Loveland man Allen Ginsborg, who has been missing since Monday, July 6? His truck was found parked at Lon Hagler Reservoir near southwest Loveland. A search was conducted of the area, but he was not located.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help to locate a missing person. Mr. Allen Ginsborg (59 years old) of Loveland is 6’01” tall, weighs 175 pounds, and has brown/gray hair and hazel eyes. He is possibly wearing tennis shoes, shorts, and a dark button-down shirt. A photo is attached. The family of Mr. Ginsborg contacted law enforcement on July 6 just after 8:00 p.m. to report him missing after finding his pickup truck parked at Lon Hagler Reservoir southwest of Loveland. Multiple agencies conducted searches in and around the reservoir from July 6 to July 8, but Mr. Ginsborg was not located. LCSO deputies, LCSO Emergency Services, Larimer County Department of Natural Resources rangers, Larimer County Search and Rescue, UCHealth Lifeline helicopter, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Search and Rescue Dogs of the US, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and Larimer County Dive Rescue Team assisted in the search. LCSO is asking for anyone who sees Mr. Ginsborg or has information regarding his whereabouts to call 970-416-1985 so we can contact him and check his welfare.
