Loveland School Put on Lockdown after Bomb Threat

We have a lot of whack-jobs out there. Add another one to the list.  A 34-year-old Loveland man was arrested yesterday after he phoned in a bomb threat at a fire station, temporarily putting a school in the area on lockdown.

According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, Jeremy Bonde, called authorities at about 8:35 a.m. Wednesday and demanded to have an officer respond to Fire Station 5 on Knobcone Drive. Dispatchers asked why an officer was needed, and Bonde said he had a bomb in his car and was parked at the station.

The threat put Immanuel Lutheran School and The Children’s Workshop on lockdown for 40 minutes as a precaution. Bonde was arrested on suspicion of false report of explosives, and taken to the Larimer County Jail.
