Loveland’s 8 Fun & (Mostly) Free Outdoor Movies For Summer of 2022

Warm summer nights, some blankets and some great entertainment, are on tap for movie fans of all ages.

What 's great about Loveland's 2022 'Movies in the Park' series is that they'll be showing the eight movies at eight different places across town. This way, different areas of Loveland can take advantage of a free movie night. Seven of the movie nights are free, one does carry a fee.

Each of the movies will begin (approximately) at 8:45 p.m., with the city's Mobile Recreation Trailer coming out to four of the venues, from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Feel free to bring your blankets and chairs, along with a picnic (no alcohol or glass) and grab a spot.

Loveland's 'Movies In The Park' 2022 Lineup:

FRIDAY, JUNE 3 - CIVIC CENTER LAGOON  - 'ONWARD'

This will be just one of the movies featuring Chris Pratt that Loveland will be showing. Come out early for the big Summer Reading kickoff going at the library.

FRIDAY, JUNE 10 - CATTAIL CREEK GOLF COURSE - 'ENCANTO'

Get ready for a huge sing along of 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' this night. The movie night will include free SNAG Golf and free Driving Range between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

FRIDAY, JUNE 17 - KROH PARK - 'JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL'

This great fun one will include Loveland's Mobile Recreation Trailer on the scene.

FRIDAY, JULY 15  - MARIANA BUTTE GOLF COURSE - 'HAPPY GILMORE'

The oldest film of the bunch, Adam Sandler's 1996 classic finds a perfect setting at Mariana Butte.

FRIDAY, JULY 22 - FOUNDRY PLAZA - 'FROZEN'

You won't have to worry about the cold bothering you at all on a July night at The Foundry. Stick around for the ($) ice cream social after the movie.

SATURDAY, JULY 23 - WINONA OUTDOOR POOL - 'PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN: CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL' 

This special 'Dive In' movie will the only movie that costs you money, as you'll have to pay the fee for getting into Winona Pool. Even costing a couple of dollars, this will be a fun Johnny Depp kind of night.

FRIDAY, JULY 29 - NORTH LAKE PARK - 'THE LEGO MOVIE 2' 

Chris Pratt is back, along the Mobile Recreation Trailer, this night.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 5 - BARNES SOFTBALL COMPLEX - 'THE ROOKIE'

The eighth and final movie of the series is a great Disney one. They'll have the concession stands at Barnes open for the movie, and will be hosting some drop-in baseball. The Mobile Recreation Trailer will be on-site as well for this Dennis Quaid classic.
