Meet April’s Teacher Tuesday Winner, Lyn Karnes

Huge congratulations to April Teacher Tuesday winner, Lyn Karnes from Rice Elementary in Wellington.

Each month, a different Northern Colorado educator is selected to win a prize package, free bowling for the whole class, and $500 for the winning teachers school.

This time, the 7 teachers from the past year are all competing to win the grand prize, Teacher of the Year.

• $500 donation to the teacher’s school, provided by University of Northern Colorado and UNC Extended Campus
• A new roof (up to $7,500) from RTC Roofing & Exteriors for the teacher or someone in need.
• 5-day condo stay in Breckenridge (up to a $2,000 value).
