There's efficiency, and then there's shooting a whole movie in Loveland over eight days. Now, the film will be shown as part of the Horsetooth International Film Festival.

Having grown up in Loveland, this is really a fun story for me. A young filmmaker made a movie in our 'small town.' It's called 'Small Town Remedies,' and it's going to be showing at the Holiday Twin in Fort Collins on September 10, 2020.

According to the Daily Camera and the Reporter-Herald, filmmaker R.W. Perkins wrote the dark comedy about substance abuse using his own personal experiences. The story follows a brother and sister dealing with their alcoholic mother.

'Small Town Remedies' will play at 9:15 p.m. on Thursday September 10, 2020 at the Holiday Twin as part of the 2020 Horsetooth International Film Festival. The festival is showing movies at both the Holiday Twin and at The Lyric September 8 through September 12.

Day passes ($25) to the festival are still available HERE.
