Parts of Fort Collins saw over 14 inches of snow between Sunday, October 25 and Monday, October 26, which we would normally complain about, but given the wildfire situation, we were kind of hoping for this.

According to Denver7, Northwest Fort Collins got 14.2 inches of snow, with the east side of town getting around 11 inches.

Wellington got 15.8 inches of snow; Loveland, 12 inches; Greeley, 7.5 inches; Windsor, 9 inches. You can see all of the snow totals as recorded by the National Weather Service here.

Up at the Mishawaka, which has had a few close calls with the wildfires,19.5 inches of snow was measured as of Monday morning.

On October 26, 2011, Fort Collins was hit by a massive snowstorm, which caused large tree branches on the CSU campus to bend and break, hospitalizing one student.

Here's how the snowfall helped with the Cameron Peak Fire and East Troublesome Fire.
