Orianthi isn't just a pretty face and a strong voice, though she's certainly those things too. This girl is a guitar prodigy.

Obviously she is, because this happened:

Orianthi Panagaris was born in South Australia, and began her career as a musician early -- she was playing piano by the time she was 3. When she was 6, she switched to acoustic, and then electric at 11. By the time she was 15 she was writing her own songs, and soon after began a professional career in music and on the stage. Orianthi was asked onto the stage by Carlos Santana, to play with him at his Adelaide concert in 2003.

You know her; don't tell me you didn't hear this song on the radio and love it:

Her newest album, 'Heaven in This Hell' makes her third studio release, and is heavily-inspired by modern country and blues, according to Orianthi. It came out last month, to rave reviews. Some people would say she's the best female guitarist alive and is going to conquer the world. Those people would be us. It's been a while since female pop singers were skilled guitarists, and we're glad it's on the rise again.

Check her out on Facebook, and check out some more videos and photos of her below.
