Report: Coloradans Need to Earn $25.33/hr to Afford Rent

Colorado is one of the country's ten most expensive places to live according to a new 2019 report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition.

Colorado ranked tenth in the nation in what required to rent two-bedroom living -- the study said one must average $25.33 per hour over a 40-hour workweek to afford fair market rent.

Hawaii ranked as the most expensive, with an average salary of $36.82 per hour needed to afford market rent. Arkansas was the lowest in the country at $14.26 per hour.
