It's hard to say what the heck was going on Thursday afternoon around midtown Fort Collins. A stabbing? Not a stabbing. Suspect apprehended and injured?

The Coloradoan has the story, what there is of it, about what sounded like a bit of chaos near College Avenue and Horsetooth on Thursday.

It seems there WAS a report of a stabbing and that a suspect was on the loose. Fort Collins police cars were all over the area at around Noon.  Then, no, there was no stabbing.

Though, the police do have a man in custody who may have been injured, because they loaded him into an ambulance.

Something happened. We're just not sure what, exactly.

Keep up with the story with the Coloradoan HERE.
