A national chain that once had multiple locations throughout the city of Fort Collins has closed their final location in the city for the last time.

According to the Coloradoan, McAlister's Deli closed their storefront at the Villagio Shops on Harmony Road at the end of 2017.

No reason has been given for why the store closed, however the article points toward new restaurants that have happened on Harmony as a possible reason.

The location on Harmony Road had been open since 2008, and was part of an expansion of the franchise in the city after they opened their first location on South College in 2007.

That location on South College Avenue has been replaced with Saigon Grill.

McAlister's Deli still has locations throughout the state, including in Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, Aurora, and Pueblo.
