Slash hasn’t even begun his summer tour, but he’s announced 18 dates for a fall tour of America that will include Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. The trek begins Sept. 4 in San Diego, Calif and wraps up Oct. 3 in Los Angeles and includes stops in major cities across the country.

Additionally, 20 unsigned bands are going to have the opportunity to open for the famous Guns N’ Roses guitarist. He’s teamed with Guitar Center to choose the bands to open up their local shows. At the end of the tour, one band will be named the grand prize winner of Guitar Center – On Stage. They’ll receive a tour support pack that includes $10K in guitars and a $5K shopping spree at Guitar Center, plus gear from companies like Ernie Ball and Dunlap.

“I’m a strong believer that the best way to get your music heard is to get out there and play shows,”Slash said. “There are tons of talented bands that simply don’t have the resources to go on tour, so I’m glad to be able to host them on my tour and at the same time introduce my fans to great, undiscovered artists.”

Tickets for the tour go on sale July 13. Special VIP and pre-sale opportunities are available. Visit Slash’s official website for more information on tickets.
