TikTok strikes again.

In September, a challenge on the popular app inspired Northern Colorado teenagers to vandalize their high school bathrooms (one Loveland High School student even stole an entire bathroom stall).

Now, the trend is wreaking havoc in Broomfield.

According to a Facebook post from the City and County of Broomfield - Government, someone recently vandalized the restrooms in Anthem Community Park, presumably to go viral on TikTok.

In a separate incident, another fame-seeker chopped down a fully-grown tree — large enough to provide oxygen to two human beings — in Quail Creek Park.

"We, like many other communities, are experiencing what has been coined as 'Tik Tok' [sic] challenges, unfortunately, there is nothing fun or positive about some of these challenges," read the post. "The cutting down of the tree is especially hurtful...come on Broomfield, let's make sure that everyone knows we value all elements of our community, and together we can send the message that those activities won't be tolerated here."

The City is asking anyone with information about these incidents to email the Broomfield Police Department (BPD) at bpd@broomfield.org. In order to prevent future damage, the public is encouraged to report any suspicious activity by calling (303) 438-6400 or reaching out to the BPD.

You can also get in touch with the City of Broomfield on social media — and yes, they're on TikTok too. Just make sure to avoid the vandalism portion of the app and focus on something wholesome, like Noodle, instead.

Broomfield isn't the only place to have an issue with TikTok. The app isn't a fan of Wyoming, either — find out why in the gallery below.
