Colorado ranked as one of the highest in the nation (no pun intended) when it comes to drug use.

In a recent study, WalletHub found that Colorado ranked ninth out of 51 in the United States, based on statistics from: teen and adult drug users, number of opioid prescriptions, overdoses, arrests, treatment needs and more.

Colorado ranked seventh in the nation in law enforcement and eighth in drug health issues and rehabilitation needs.

Just this month, Denver decriminalized 'magic mushrooms' and Colorado was one of the first states to legalize marijuana in 2014. You can read more from WalletHub here.
