Several weeks after being ousted from his role in Queensryche, former vocalist Geoff Tate is still seeking some clarity to understand what went down.

Now that the remaining members of Queensryche have won a ruling that will allow them to temporarily keep their name even though they’re in the middle of a legal battle with former singer Geoff Tate, the band is wasting no time in filling up their tour schedule.

Progressive heavy metal group Queensryche‘s remaining members are back on their feet again, performing at their first live show since the recent ousting of vocalist Geoff Tate.

What looks like Queensryche, sounds like Queensryche but isn’t really Queensryche? Well, it’s complicated. Tonight, the rock band is scheduled to play West Valley City, Utah, but only singer Geoff Tate will be there.

This is getting ugly. Even though a band publicist stated last week that the members of Queensryche were doing their own thing as part of a new project called Rising West while Geoff Tate performed solo this summer, the tensions are becoming more public by the day.
