Slash has released a specially remixed song and video version of his track ‘Gotten’ to raise awareness for the plight of homeless youth in Los Angeles, Calif. All the proceeds from this project will benefit the Los Angeles Youth Network (LAYN), and you can contribute by simply downloading the song.

Slash has released more details on his second solo album, the follow-up to the 2010 ‘Slash’ project which featured a crowd of guest-vocalists. ‘Apocalyptic Love’ will feature Myles Kennedy on vocals and be released on May 22 through Slash’s Dik Hayd International label.

As we revealed last week, Slash and television icon Betty White have been the two celebrities chosen to star in a series of commercials for L.A.I.R. (Living Amphibians, Invertebrates and Reptiles), an upcoming exhibit at the Los Angeles Zoo.
