Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has issued a much-desired update on his battle against lymphoma, reporting that he is done with chemotherapy and soon to move onto three weeks of radiotherapy.

Ozzy Osbourne‘s ‘Ozzy’s Boneyard’ radio channel has officially launched on SiriusXM. In an interview on the station, the Prince of Darkness wasted no time addressing his Black Sabbath partner Tony Iommi‘s current cancer battle, joking that he told the guitarist “if he dies, I’m gonna kill him.”

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has been diagnosed with the early stages of lymphoma, and is currently working with doctors to determine the best possible treatment routine.

It wasn’t even close. Both Ace Frehley and Tony Iommi made the latest New York Times Hardcover Nonfiction Best Sellers list, but the former Kiss guitarist enjoyed a comfortable lead over the Black Sabbath axe-man in the battle of the hard rockers vying for supremacy on the tally.

Tony Iommi has finally admitted that there may indeed once again be a Black Sabbath reunion. In an interview with Metro.uk, the guitar legend, genre creator and now author, said that his relationship with original lead singer Ozzy Osbourne these days is good: “We’ve had our ups and downs in the past but it’s been blown out of proportion.”
