The Blue Angels Will Return to Northern Colorado in 2021
For the first time in nearly two decades, the Blue Angels will return to Northern Colorado for an air show in October.
The last time the Blue Angels performed in Loveland, traffic on Interstate 25 came to halt, leaving some commuters sitting in traffic for hours on end.
The Blue Angels are celebrating their 75th anniversary and will be flying new Super Hornet jets. The new, larger aircraft boasts bigger fuel capacity, engines that produce more thrust and more of that famous jet noise.
According to the Coloradoan, the airshow in Loveland is one of 30 locations that the Blue Angels will be performing at in 2021. The Loveland Air Show is scheduled for a two-day event on October 16 and 17.
