The Northern Colorado housing market has been on fire for several years now and there really isn't any sign of it slowing down any time soon. That's GOOD if you're already in a home, but if you're not, it could make things a little challenging, especially if you don't have enough saved for that down payment.

If you're willing to sacrifice some space and some of the bells and whistles you'll find on some of the newer homes in prime neighborhoods, there are some places (not many) that can make for a pretty decent starter home or simply a cozy spot to downsize.
As a disclaimer, I do want to say that the lowest price-point that I found is based on single family, detached dwellings. Manufactured homes, townhomes, condos, etc. were not included on my search.
