READ: Beloved Colorado Diner Closes For Good After Nearly 50 Years

According to the Coloradoan, Pinnochios Incredible Italian, located at 4306 S. College Ave. in Fort Collins, is potentially shutting its doors for good.

On Monday (Jan. 24), the publication discovered multiple documents on the restaurant's door, which claimed that Annie Vick, the eatery's owner, owes Apple Colorado LLC, the building's owner, over $182,000 in past-due rent.

Vick's rent issues, which started in April of 2020, are far from her only business troubles.

The Coloradoan reports that, in 2021, the Securities and Exchange Commission charged her with fraud, meaning that she is now unable to officiate or direct any private companies in the future.

She also parted ways with her former business partners, Kelsey and Joe DeBoard, who have since turned Pinnochios' Niwot location into a restaurant named Cimmini's.

Kelsey DeBoard told the publication that Vick allowed the Niwot eatery's liquor license to lapse, stating that she "just wasn't holding up her end of the bargain when it came to the franchise."

While the exact future of the Fort Collins Pinnochios remains unclear, the company has removed the Choice City from its website — only locations in Loveland, Longmont, and Frederick remain.

Pinocchios made its Fort Collins debut in January of 2020 to rave reviews, with many on Google praising the restaurant for its "great service" and "delicious" food.
