It’s officially time to get yourself into the holiday spirit, and surprise – one of these three upcoming weekend events will do the trick come Monday morning.

You may remember this annual tradition by the picturesque blue NightLights tree found in Fort Collins. This heart-warming event aims to bring awareness to child abuse and neglect, and focuses on bringing hope to children that are impacted by these tragedies. You are invited to help let these children know they are not alone this holiday season by lighting a brand-new NightLights tree. Additionally, NightLights is also the largest fundraiser for Realities For Children, in which you can donate through December 31. The goal of this fundraiser is set at $250,000, and 100% of these proceeds will go directly to aiding the needs of abused, neglected and at-risk children in our community. This lighting and fundraiser will occur at 6-7 p.m. on Sunday at First Presbyterian Church at 531 South College Avenue in Fort Collins, Colorado. There will be free food, drinks and entertainment. RETRO 102.5 DJ's will MC the event.

The Greeley Chamber of Commerce invites you to the community’s official holiday kick-off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at 9th Avenue and 15th Street in Greeley, Colorado. This free, festive parade will put every Greeley citizen in the holiday spirit with lights and other elements known to spread Christmas cheer.

All aboard! The Rocky Mountain Train Show will be showcasing vendors including Choo Choo are US and Rock House Toy Train Station, starting at 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. on Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday at The Ranch Complex in Loveland, Colorado. This is an all scales show, and there will be trains in scales for sale ranging from N to G. This event is family friendly for train-lovers of all ages, and will include trains for children to run, face painting and photo opportunities with Santa. Participating Boy Scouts will also earn the Railroad Merit Badge.
