Thornton Police Clock Driver on I-25 Going 73 MPH Over Speed Limit

As the streets empty out due to self-isolating, law enforcement agencies have been sharing photos on social media of excessive speeders, for example the driver busted by Arvada Police for doing 122 on I-70.

The Thornton Police Department is now joining in on Facebook, posting about a driver that got clocked going 128 miles per hour on southbound I-25 in a 55 mile per hour zone. That would be 73 miles per hour over the speed limit.

'Let us just say, he is in a heap of trouble,' Thornton Police Department said. 'Please slow down people!' ...Which may be an understatement.
