Tony Frank: CSU Will Have In-Person Classes in the Fall
It sounds like this August, Rams will be able to reunite.
When asked about CSU being reopened in the fall for in-person instruction, Colorado State University Chancellor (and former bearded president) Dr. Tony Frank said 'Absolutely our plan,' to KDVR's Channel 2 Daybreak.
Yahoo News shared a video from May 6, in which Dr. Frank states that 'barring any major public health order that prohibits it,' CSU would be open, and would have a 'face-to-face opening.'
CSU closed its campus in March, just ahead of spring break, announcing all classes would be resuming online through the end of the 2019-2020 school year.
'With the advice of public health officials and weighing many public health factors, we have made the decision to extend online course delivery through to the end of the Spring 2020 semester,' University President Joyce McConnell shared on Facebook on March 16.
On May 6, Dr. Frank said that the university is 'going to move heaven and earth' to make sure there is an on-campus reopening. But, CSU will follow the governor's orders in regards to its reopening for the fall semester.
