Transformer Fire in Fort Collins Causes Home Evacuation
At least one home was damaged by a transformer fire which spread in a southwest Fort Collins neighborhood this afternoon.
As of now, there is little information on the cause of the fire, but Poudre Fire Authority posted on Facebook about a structure fire at City Road 38E (West Harmony) in Fort Collins just after 2 p.m.
According to Geoff Gundy, who snapped the photos below, a transformer caught fire, which spread flames through the grass, causing a fence and one home to catch fire as well.
