Gang detectives arrested two men on Saturday night (September 7) in Greeley after they fled from a stolen vehicle, according to The Greeley Tribune. 

The detectives, who are part of The Greeley Police Department, located the stolen vehicle around 11:35 p.m. in the 1700 block of 18th Ave. When they approached the scene, three men and a woman fled from the car.

Police found the woman, identified as 38-year-old Mindy White, down the street and released her without any charges.

They found two of the men, identified as 21-year-old Carlos Ochoa and 27-year-old Anthony Urquiza, nearby in an apartment on 19th Avenue.

A K9 unit was dispatched at the apartment. Ochoa and Urquiza came outside, where they were arrested and taken to the Weld County Jail.

Ochoa, who had also tried to hide a sawed-off shotgun from officers, faces charges for possession of a weapon by a previous offender and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Urquiza has been charged with motor vehicle theft and driving under revocation.

Police were unable to find the third man who fled the scene.
