UNC Classes Move Online After Spring Break, Full Cancellation List
University of Northern Colorado (UNC) announced that following Spring Break students on all UNC campuses will be taught remotely (not in person) from at least March 23 to April 5.
UNC spring break is held March 15-22.
The UNC faculty is preparing to teach classes remotely after Spring Break, so all in-person classes at all of UNC’s campuses have been canceled on March 23 and 24.
Online classes will continue to be held as scheduled.
In person teaching will resume Monday, April 6, but is subject to change.
We are investigating how to accommodate classroom activities that typically include laboratories, performances, or other in-person interactions, and specific guidance will follow.
University-sponsored or affiliated international travel is suspended through June 30, 2020.
Countries designated Level 2 or 3 by the CDC that students have travelled to are subject to 14-day self-quarantine off campus after returning.
Domestic Travel
University-affiliated domestic travel to other states is suspended unless deemed essential. UNC suggests using video conferencing and conference calls when possible.
All University events, including sports, scheduled on the UNC campus from March 23 through April 5 have been canceled.
Campus business operations and services including residence halls, dining operations, Campus Recreation Center, Student Heath Center, University Libraries, Campus Commons, and University Center will remain open.
While UNC campuses are not officially closed, but they are asking for patience as "some services may be limited due to adjusted staffing levels".
