Weed-Related Car Crashes on the Rise in Colorado

Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area have released a new study. The study indicates that weed-related car crashes increased by 15% since the legalization recreational weed in Colorado.

The study also states that traffic deaths have increased 31% since Colorado legalized weed.

According to Fox31, "in 2013, 11% of drivers involved in fatal crashes tested positive for marijuana", and "over the past three years, that number has risen to about 20%".

The study states that in 2018, 75% drivers that tested positive for weed also had alcohol, other drugs, or a combination of both in their system.
