The Weld County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for people who are connected to several stolen vehicles, following an incident that took place in Dacono last weekend.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, Weld County deputies and Mountain View firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire at A&J Auto Solutions (2322 Weld County Road 11), located just about 4 miles south of Dacono. Additional law enforcement was requested after firefighters noticed a vehicle on the property that was missing its ignition panel.

After firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, detectives determined that six vehicles on the property had been reported as stolen. These vehicles included a pickup truck, a sedan, and three motorcycles. One of the vehicles had been stolen out of Colorado Springs, while the other five had been reported stolen from the Denver metro area.

Five people also lived at the Weld location where the fire broke out. One resident was treated at the scene for minor injuries, and a 17-year-old boy was taken to the hospital by ambulance for smoke inhalation.

Anyone with information about the address of 2322 Weld County Road 11 is asked to contact Detective Sierra Vessels at 970-400-2836 or the Weld County Sheriff's Office Investigation Unit at 970-400-2860.
