Winter Weather Advisory – 1st Snow of the Season Possible Tonight
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the mountains in northern and central Colorado, from Steamboat Springs to Vail. 3-6" of snow is possible above 8000 feet through this morning. According to the National Weather Service, there is also a Freeze Advisory in effect for Northeastern Colorado until 9 am Friday, October 7.
It snowed in Colorado’s high country last night. The plains will see a few rain showers for the morning drive and then a few more showers are possible this afternoon
Rain mixed with snow will be possible along the I-25 Corridor and Front Range foothills tonight.
