1 Dead After Saturday Morning Berthoud Shooting

A 37-year-old male was found dead in Berthoud early Saturday morning after a gun disturbance was reported.

Authorities have taken another 37-year-old male into custody, the Larimer County Sheriff's Office said in a press release. The incident that occurred on the 800 block of Douglas Place in Berthoud  is still under investigation.

Authorities first responded to the incident around 1:45 a.m. on Saturday morning.

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Larimer County Coroner’s along with cause and manner of death.
