2.7 – Magnitude Earthquake Hits Colorado Over the Weekend

You probably didn't feel it, but a 2.7-magnitude quake hit the Colorado mountains overnight on Saturday. The epicenter was about 18-and-a-half miles north of Glenwood Springs.

According to 9News:

The U.S. Geological Survey says the earthquake was at a depth of about 2.7 kilometers in the Flat Tops - a little west of Triangle Mountain - around 1:02 a.m.

Only a few people likely would have felt it nearby, but since the quake happened in the White River National Forest, it's unlikely any buildings were affected.
