As if we needed more proof that Colorado is better than California, on Monday, the Colorado Department of Revenue revealed that Colorado's marijuana prices have dropped.

The Average Market Rates (AMR) for retail marijuana show that five of the seven AMR categories decreased this quarter.

The categories of marijuana that saw the biggest decrease are bud, trim, bud allocated for extraction, trim allocated for extraction and seed.

The July 1 AMR was calculated based on retail marijuana transactions from March 1, 2020 through May 31, 2020.

AMR is an estimate of the typical prices of each category of unprocessed retail marijuana that is sold or transferred from marijuana grows to product manufacturers or stores.
