Score Deals Like Black Friday Every Day at This Colorado Store
Everyone could use all the savings they can at this point in time. One way to do that is by getting a good deal on items you need in your everyday life. If you haven't heard about the store in Aurora called Black Friday's, you are missing out.
We have made the trek down to 1200 South Abilene Street in Aurora twice now and every time we go, we find at least one pretty awesome deal with huge discounts.
How Does a Black Friday's Store Work?
Black Friday's buys truckloads of merchandise from national retailers that are either overstocked, discontinued, or returned. Every week, Black Friday's closes its doors on Thursday to restock the entire store with approximately 50,000 items. When Black Friday's opens for business again on Friday, all of the items are entirely new and possibly different from the week before.
Every item is priced the exact same in the store. It doesn't matter if it was originally a $300 electronic gadget or a $20 pair of yoga pants. You're going to pay the same price for either item. Here is the cost-per-day breakdown:
- Friday - $16
- Saturday - $9
- Sunday - $6
- Monday - $4
- Tuesday - $2
- Wednesday - $1
You never really know what you might get when going to Black Friday's as the selection is quite vast. Electronics, small appliances, home decor, cosmetics, toys, and more are all up for grabs at a great price depending on the day.
A Couple of Tips While Shopping at Black Friday's
The first time I walked into the store, it was a Sunday and quite a bit overwhelming. There are items in bins and clothing hung up, but there also can be no rhyme or reason to where items are where they are. You kind of have to hunt for items you might want. After about 10 minutes or so, I got the hang of things.
On our first trip, we bought a set of six ramekins, set of six bowls, a really nice Halloween cookie-baking set, and a few other items. These items would have easily cost us over $100, instead, we spent less than $30.
Bring gloves. Touching a bunch of items that are either in cardboard boxes or plastic wrap is going to wreak havoc on your hands, you might as well protect them. On the off occasion, you might grab something that had liquid spilled on it and the last thing you want to do is run to the bathroom to wash your hands.
Have fun. This is the biggest for me when shopping at Black Friday's. For all intents and purposes, it's a treasure hunt. Plus, you're not sure what you are going to find. You might walk out with a bunch of stuff or you might not find anything that tickles your fancy that day. You can always try again another week.
