Lucky Loveland to Be One of First Colorado Locations for Tex-Mex Taco Chain
When this taco chain announced that they'd be expanding out of their east coast area into Colorado, it looked like the Longmont/Boulder area would be the choice. It turns out, that the Sweetheart City has been chosen for those who love tacos.
It was in the summer/fall of 2015, that Matador Mexican Grill moved into this Loveland location, on the east side of town. Things just didn't work out for them, nor for the Subway that was there; will this Florida-based chain make the cut?
It was in November of 2022, that it was announced that Capital Tacos would be opening three locations in Colorado. I know that I had never heard of them before, as I'm sure there are many other like me, but they do look great.
WHERE WILL THIS NEW TACO JOINT BE, IN LOVELAND?
This first Colorado location of Capital Tacos, in Loveland, will be off of I-25 and Highway 34 in the Centerra area, just north of Wendy's. You may know of The Scrub House, which has been there for what seems like forever; for a few years you could find a Matador Mexican Grill and a Subway next to the Scrub House.

It's not clear when the Tex-Mex Capital Tacos will be opening, nor is it clear if they will be affiliated with the Vietnamese restaurant that also has a 'Coming Soon' sign up a the location; Paris Banh Mi is a sandwhich chain also based out of Florida, however.

It'll be interesting to see if Capital Tacos and Paris Banh Mi flourish in this troubled location.
