The Bronze Boot is up for grabs Friday night.

Colorado State University (4-6) travels to face the University of Wyoming (6-4) at 7:30 p.m. in Laramie, Wyoming for the latest Border War rivalry game. It's the 110th annual meeting of the schools — the longest continuous football rivalry west of the Mississippi River.

The Bronze Boot trophy was added to the series in 1968 in honor of a boot worn in the Vietnam War by Colorado State ROTC Captain Dan J. Romero.

The Cowboys have claimed the last three Bronze Boot trophies and have a 27-24 edge in all Bronze Boot games.

Rams coach Mike Bobo did win the Bronze Boot in his first season on the sidelines. CSU needs to win its final two games of the season to remain bowl eligible.
