CSU Football: Rams Take on Utah State in Conference Play
Colorado State University thought it had an epic Hail Mary win over Utah State last season in Fort Collins.
But celebration quickly turned to heartbreak when now-NFL wide receiver Preston Williams was flagged for stepping out of bounds before making the would-be game-winning catch.
The Rams (1-3) now head to Logan, Utah to take on the Aggies (2-1) at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in CSU's Mountain West Conference opener.
Nebraska transfer Patrick O'Brien will get his second straight start under center for the Rams, filling in for the injured Collin Hill. O'Brien went 32 of 52 for 405 yards with a touchdown and interception in last week's 41-35 loss to Toledo.
Utah State has won back-to-back games, including a 23-17 victory of San Diego State last week that was the Aggies first win against the Aztecs in 52 years.
