There are a lot of buildings in Downtown Denver. In fact, over the past several years, those big giant cranes have just become part of the skyline with new buildings popping up seemingly every week.

According to 9 News, officials just broke ground on the 30 story 1900 Lawrence Project which is slated for completion sometime in 2024.

Now this most recent building and claim to be Denver's tallest office tower in nearly 40 years is already being debated as the building at 1144 15th street, which was built in 2018 sits at 40 stories high so let the debating begin.

We're not going to let some minor details get in the way of this spectacular new building that is going to be added to the Denver skyline, make no mistake, it's going to be an impressive sight.

Pretty cool right?

Designed by architects Goettsch Partners and Shears Adkins Rockmore Architects,  this $400 million building will feature some of the most state of the art office areas which will include high ceiling heights, energy efficient floorplates with floor-to-ceiling glass, multiple floors with private tenant terraces, to go with some incredible views of the Front Range, Coors Field, LoDo and Skyline Park.

With so many people still working from home and many permanently doing so, it's a bit surprising that a building this size dedicated to pure office space is being built and I couldn't help but notice a gentleman that commented on the post about converting at least a portion of it to affordable housing.

That's a great idea but then again, affordable and Denver just seems to be a giant oxymoron these days but the idea certainly isn't bad.

Let's take a quick virtual tour of the new 1900 Lawrence and see just how impressive this place is truly going to be.
