Estes Park Bears Tearing Up Unlocked Cars [Video]

The old cartoons with Yogi the Bear outsmarting the Jellystone park ranger weren't really that far off base. Bears are smart. Humans can be...stupid.

The Colorado Department of Wildlife posted a video on May 9, 2019, showing the damage a bear had done to a car in Estes Park, one of two car break-ins the previous night.

They also passed along the reminder that bears are smart they CAN get into cars that are unlocked. People need to be 'Bear' smart- and at least lock their car doors.
