The Townsquare team recently had the pleasure of volunteering at the Weld and Larimer County food banks and we encourage you to get in on the good vibes.
Here's how:
Flexible Volunteer Shifts – No Orientation Required
The Food Bank now offers volunteer shifts for individuals or small groups who just want to give it a try or whose schedule doesn’t allow for a weekly shift. These shifts do not require an orientation, so you can get started right away. For more information and to sign-up, click the appropriate link below.
Volunteer Positions:
Fresh Food Share Assistant
Food Share volunteers provide direct service to our guests in Food Share, our client-choice, fresh food pantries in Fort Collins and Loveland.
Opportunities include: Greeting guests, stocking, sorting and cleaning.
Warehouse Assistant
Warehouse volunteers help us distribute more than 9 million pounds of food each year.
Opportunities include: Preparing commodity food bags, sorting food drive items and repacking donated bulk food.
Nourishing Network Assistant
Nourishing Network volunteers help the Food Bank provide thousands of pounds of food to our partner agencies in Larimer County.
Opportunities include: Stocking, sorting and cleaning.
Nutritious Kitchen Assistant
Kitchen volunteers help prepare healthy, made-from-scratch meals and snacks at our Wright Drive location for our child and senior programs.
Opportunities include: Preparing and portioning food for Kids Cafe and other programs. No culinary training is necessary.
