Joseph Gordon-Levitt Wants to See Your Best Photos of Colorado
Maybe you swoon for the heartbroken Tom in 500 Days of Summer. Maybe you're crushing on the adorable Cameron in 10 Things I Hate About You. Maybe you're impressed by the logical Arthur in Inception.
Either way, if you're a fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, you should be excited to hear that he's calling on Coloradans (if you're not, well, then this is awkward).
In a Tuesday (Dec. 29) Facebook post, the actor asked Colorado residents to share the best photos that they've taken in the Centennial State, specifying that the picture should be "one that brings you joy."
Our state was quick to fulfill the celebrity's request, posting pictures of weddings in Rocky Mountain National Park, a Cooper's hawk rescue in Lakewood, the Platteville tornado from earlier this year, a view of the moon from Greeley, and more.
The star's prompt is part of HITRECORD, a "professional open collaborative production company" that Gorden-Levitt founded in 2010.
The platform allows community members to participate in a variety of artistic projects, some of which make their way into the mainstream media. In fact, the actor said that his experience with the website led him to create his 2013 romantic dramedy, Don Jon.
While it's unlikely that Gordon-Levitt is currently making a movie about the Centennial State, you never know where these photos could end up. Earlier this year, we asked you to share your best Colorado wildlife photos from 2021 — check out the Northern Colorado pictures we think the star would appreciate in the gallery below.
