Very strong winds downed trees, knocked out power, toppled semi-trucks and even closed multiple major highways this week. How windy was it? According to the National Weather Service here are some wind speeds that were recorded in Colorado this week:
- Louisville - 89 MPH
- Broomfield - 86 MPH
- Superior - 84 MPH
- Rocky Flats - 83 MPH
- Loveland - 80 MPH
- Longmont - 72 MPH
- Sterling - 72 MPH
- Brighton - 71 MPH
- DIA - 70 MPH
- Boulder - 69 MPH
- State Line - 66 MPH
- Fort Collins - 58 MPH
