Nappy Roots Headlining at The Aggie Theater on Jan. 9

The Aggie Theater hosts yet another must-see show, featuring headliners Nappy Roots, Nick Sanville, DJ Channell and Staying Stokes.

The show is presented by Power 102.9.

Nappy Roots emerged in 1998 from Kentucky. The southern rap quartet met while attending Western Kentucky University.

Nappy Roots currently has seven studio albums and fourteen mix-tapes, including the successful album: “Watermelon, Chicken, & Grits.” This album sold over three-million copies, giving Nappy Roots the confidence and charisma they needed to successfully develop themselves.

Facing several obstacles along the way, this inspiring group is now independently operated and owners of their own craft brewery called Atlantic Brewing Co.
