New Pizza Place Coming To Old Town Fort Collins
Spoons Fort Collins was a staple in Old Town for many years - 18 to be exact. But now it looks like that location is going to go from serving up soups and salads to serving up New York-style pizzas.
A place called "The Corner Slice" is about to move into the old Spoons location at 172 North College Avenue inside the Northern Hotel straight out of Steamboat Springs in just a couple of months.
It's tentatively set for a June 1 opening day.
According to The Corner Slice's owner and operator, Bryan Baker, after starting The Corner Slice in Steamboat Springs in 2018, Baker said he's kept his eye on Fort Collins for the past two or three years, noting that he has family members in the Choice City and loves the area.
After hearing about this place, I did a little search online and on Instagram and the place looks to not only have yummy looking pizzas, they also have incredibly delicious looking sandwiches and different types of bread. Seriously, that cheesy bread is so calling my name.
From pizzas to sandwiches to calzones to desserts and more - including root beer floats, both regular and boozy ones, - The Corner Slice has a menu that everyone is sure to find something scrumptious to eat and drink because they will serve alcohol too.
New restaurants are always fun to check out when they come to town and this spot is definitely going to be on my list of places to hit when they open later this year.
