Pathways Launches Campaign for New Fort Collins Hospice Center

The death of a loved one is never easy to face, but Pathways is here to help.

The organization is the leading provider of hospice, palliative care, and grief counseling services in Northern Colorado.

While Pathways has operated out of the McKee Medical Center in Loveland since 2001, they are now in need of their own facility to keep up with Colorado's growing population.

In order to create this space, the organization is launching a capital campaign to raise $8 million for a new facility, titled The Pathways Inpatient Care Center.

The center would have 12 rooms for hospice care patients with acute end-of-life needs. There would be room for visitors and family members, as well as outdoor garden spaces, a chapel, and a community kitchen.

It would be located at 305 Carpenter Road in Fort Collins.

However, the center cannot be built without the help of the community, which is why they are asking for donations from the public.

"This is a long-term investment in the community to ensure the growing need for this level of care is sustainably met for generations to come," said Marsha Sesskin, Pathway's Director of Development. "...we welcome gifts of all sizes."
