Pronghorn Giving Birth Hit By Car, Colorado Drivers Deliver Fawn
Colorado Springs drivers pulled a fawn pronghorn from it's mother after she was hit by a car while giving birth on Sunday.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife sent out a tweet on June 15 with a photo of the cutest newborn pronghorn fawn in a transport crate. (see below) It was a wild day for the fawn, who's mother was unfortunately hit by a car while delivering the baby.
A couple saw what happened, noticed the doe was in labor, jumped into action and removed the fawn from the mother. Colorado Parks and Wildlife were notified and immediately relocated the fawn to a rehab center.
Now THAT'S Colorado.
